Local officers giving blood
The 2013 Emergency Services Blood Donation challenge is nearing its end – the goal is to raise awareness of the need for ongoing blood donations, particularly over the winter period when stocks are usually extremely low. Many members from all of the Emergency Services contributed during this time, and many are regular donors.
The Australian Red Cross Blood Service is always looking for new or returning 
blood donors and if you wish to donate check out the website for eligibility and your nearest location.
Bundaberg police officers attended at the local blood bank to give their life saving donations, and with just a week to go the QPS is winning the challenge!
